• I have just had a fresh install of the latest version of Nextgen-Gallery.

I have created a gallery, and enabled ‘Show slideshow link’ from the options.

On one of my website pages mywebsite.com/gallery, I have set the code to: [nggallery id=2] in order to display my gallery.

The gallery is displayed fine. However when I click on ‘Show as slideshow’ I’m redirected to mywebsite.com/gallery/nggallery/slideshow and a page not found message shows up.

Can you guide me in solving this issue?

    Thanks.

@spvemm – An actual live URL is much more useful than any example URL as we can then see the issue live … without some more details there is not much I can offer as suggestions to what to look for in this case.

    Thanks!

Hi, the following is the link to the gallery: http://markbofficial.com/gallery

    Thanks

@spvemm try to deactivate all plugins but Nextgen, clear browser cache and see if it works. If not, try to regenerate permalinks, just clicking on “save”.

@spvemm – I would start with what @tizz (Thanks!) suggested as everything seems fine except the “Slideshow” link is not being correctly generated …

Hi, I deactivated all plug-ins, cleared browser cache, and activated next-gen. Same as before.

I then selected Manage Galleries, and clicked on the gallery name. After seeing all images, I clicked on save. Again, same as before.

I’m including a screenshot of the Save button and the parameters for the gallery settings.

@spvemm – It might be best for you to submit a Bug Report (http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) with your site specifics so we can get a closer look at this.

We will need log in and FTP credentials for your WordPress installation as well, please include those with the Bug Report.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.

@spvemm Just to clarify, I told you to regenerate the permalinks (from the WordPress settings). Save the gallery has nothing to do here.
Anyway, go ahead now with what @cais suggested.

@tizz I just did now from permalink settings, however to no avail.
Will submit a bug report. Thanks.
