The newest update of “Google XML Sitemaps” is listed as version 3.4 in the PHP code and on my Dashboard, but as version 3.3.1 on the WordPress page and in the filename.

confirmed. no changelog and only 3.3.1 being offered, despite 3.4 on the download button

mine are 3.4, XML Sitemap Generator for WordPress 3.4

Just did the update, file downloaded was “google-sitemap-generator.3.3.1” but after update version number was 3.4. Looks like someone just gave the update file the wrong file name.

That was a sloppy release. The author put “3.4” in the plugin code, “3.3” in the readme file, and “3.3.1” in the plugin repository.
