Newbie so…

pardon the silliness of this question.

First, is there a way to just plug the blog into my crrent site or do I have to customize what’s included in Word Press to my likng through CSS?

I’ve also noticed that people have just there URL without the wordpress directory, any info on this would be appreciated as well.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
