No – WordPress wants your FTP login details. You can obtain these from your hosts if you don’t know then already,

Thanks, I’ll give it a try.

I installed 3.2.2 and it’s telling me: Your server does not have PHP installed or PHP is turned off.

I have no idea what this means. I created my own 50-page eCommerce website from scratch – WP CAN’T be this complicated . . . can it?

Uh? I thought you were already running WordPress. Do you mean you upgraded to 3.3.2?

I’m completely new to WP. I thought I’d done all I needed to do just by downloading 3.2.2 (it’s a first-time download – not an upgrade). Now I’ve got this PHP issue to deal with.

Have you uploaded WordPress to your server yet?

You selected a theme within your deployed WordPress UI? From Appearance >> Themes >> Manage Themes (Tab) >> Available Themes? Is this where WP prompted you to log in again?

WP was described to me as a blogging site that has templates one can incorporate. I can see now that isn’t the case. Sorry for the mix-up..

Are you perhaps referring to wordpress.com?

Thank you! I was just told “WordPress”. I’ve taken a look at WordPress.COM – and that’s more on my level.
