Edit number of columns

Hello,

I have just created a website with the help of a friend. I am facing problem with the footer area. There is only one change I need to get done and I cannot get my head around it. Here is my problem: the footer on my website displays 4 columns. I want these 4 columns in one line not in two lines. What can I do? I have tried almost everything that I could find on support forums including changing style.css settings, however I am not any closer to a solution.
