adam1550, how did you migrate to WPML?
Did you use: https://wordpress.org/plugins/qtranslate-to-wpml-export/
or you did it in some other way? You said it was a pain to migrate, did you have problems or its just complicated?
Yeah fill us in adam1550, I am having a pisser of a time with the migration and now wpml developers are not going to update the qtranslate importer anymore.
My import starts hanging and erases my content.
Luckily backed up my database.
I am also need to know why this one does not update any more.???
I have no idea why qTranslate has been abandoned.
Yes Greg007 I used that plugin to migrate a few months ago and it worked okay for me. Some things like translations in the navigation menus I had to manually change to work with WPML.
Some users are having various amounts of success with mqtranslate which is based on qTranslate and is free. I just bit the bullet and bought WPML and couldn’t be happier now.
I used mqTranslate but my text editor was disable? So I need to know from developer too.
