I understand that you updated WooCommerce to version 6.8.1 but in the System Status it is showing 6.8.0 still.
It may take a while to show, so you can check after some time. If it doesn’t show even after a few hours, please clear your browser’s cache as explained in this guide:

It still shows 6.8.0. In plugin Editor the version is 6.8.1. I don’t know if that is any issue?

This is indeed strange, but so that we can get a better idea of your setup, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status?
You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
I just updated to version 6.8.2, and that immediately showed in the status. So whatever you did with the new update must have fixed the issue

On comparing the versions 6.8.2 with 6.8.1 – I see the version number is bumped with the release.
