New user registration

    I have recently had 2 new user registrations. I have deleted one of them once and then it reappeared along with a different one. I am not adding these, so how are they adding themselves. They are listed as “subscribers”

    Do you have the “Anyone can register” option enabled? I think it’s in Settings > General.

    Yes I do, but what has me puzzled is how do they register themselves. From what screen do they do it.

    From login page
    http://domain name/wp-login.php will have register link if you have ticked anyone can register

    I see. Thank you. Next question: Why register if all they can do is read.

    If I was you I will untick if all they do is read your blog as that is for membership blog where you may have some other things members can see that visitors can not see.

    One more that if you do not have good capcha on register form you will start getting lots of spam registers that no human is registering they are spambots.
