• Hello

I have a mutisite network set up and I am trying allow new users to be created. Right now if someone desireing to be a new user goes to subsite.com/wp-admin and clicks Register the user is directed to parentsite.com/wp-signup.php where they are prompted to select a username and email address.

Upon doing this they are routed to a page telling them that they will receive an email where they can then activate their new account.

They then receive an email saying:

To activate your user, please click the following link:
    http://parentsite.com/wp-activate.php?key=21d674345f1eab2c
After you activate, you will receive *another email* with your login.

The issue is when you click this url it directs you to a blank page on the parent site and does not allow the user to activate. I have seen plenty of posts regarding issues with user registration on multi sites but no great resolutions and none that mirror my problem.

    Thanks in advance.

Likely it’s a plugin or theme conflict.

    Try

    1) Turning off all your plugins. Yes, all.
    2) If that doesn’t work, try changing your theme to TwentyEleven
