My website runs on SSL. The new update is now triggering SSL (https) security errors. is it possible to fix?

Hi,
I’ve not checked if it works on SSL (sorry!). However, I’ll take a look today and try to release a fix by tomorrow morning.
Thanks for letting me know. If you love the plugin, a review will be greatly appreciated.
Regads,
MehediHi Dan,
I’ve fixed the issue and added a little feature to the plugin with version 1.7.1! It should be available right now.
Please update the plugin and let me know if the issue is still there š
Thanks!
Hi Mehedi, thank you for the quick update!! I checked, the SSL errors persist for some reason. Are there any http:// requests made?
I checked the code, the plugin is sending http requests to at least Fancebook and Reddit, not sure about the rest.
Hi Dan,
I updated the plugin yet again. Though, I’ve not updated the version number. So please remove/uninstall the plugin and install it again.
Please let me know if it doesn’t work. Also, screenshot of the error will be greatly helpful š
Thanks!
It’s just a message saying ‘showing only secured content.’ It happens when there is an http link in the page. I deleted the plugin and installed again, still receiving an error. I looked into it again and there are 2 http requests that I believe are responsible for this, http://fonts.googleapis.com and http://fonts.gstatic.com Does this help?
Could be just one of the two, possibly the gstatic
Thanks for the info. I updated the plugin once again and it should work fine now. (again, remove the plugin and install it again).
Please let me know if it doesn’t work š
Great job!! The SSL error has been fixed, 5/5!!! I will rate the plugin because it is great and because of your fast response!! Thank you!!
I have a question that has nothing to do with the plugin. On many WordPress sites when a post is shared on LinkedIn, the featured image is not displayed, sometimes even the description. I have been trying to resolve it for a very, very long time unsuccessfully. I have the tags (schema) and everything works on Facebook and Google+. This error is known to wordpress sites but I have absolutely no clue how people fix it. Do you have any idea how this can be fixed? Try sharing a post on LinkedIn and you will see what I mean in the preview. Again, it has nothing to do with the plugin and I am sure LinkedIn share is working perfect for you, just not for me.
Thanks!
Unfortunately, I’m not into SEO stuff. Try to use the WordPress SEO plugin and it should work. (It worked on my site).
Which SEO plugin are you using if I may ask?
Here you go: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/
Thank you š
