Using WordPress 4.7.4 with Zerif Lite 1.8.4.9 installed without issue.

Theme has an update available. 1.8.5.23

When I install update it completely crashes the front page. Basically anything you have edited in the Customize section looses format. It just looks like a complete mess. I have this theme on multiple client sites. Seems like every time there is an update this theme crashes. Like literally every time.

Not sure what would cause this.. I always just do a restore on the Files and Database to correct this issue.. but still leaves me with an outdated version of theme.

Anyone else have this same problem?

**Update** Just installed the update on a different clients site and it worked fine.

i have this problem – not as severe but when logged in the formatting is fine, when logged out and seen by public the “testimonials” heading disappears, and the “bottombottom button” the clickable link button is not there – please help

ok it seems like you have to change the text on those items for them to appear. Even if you are happy with the text already just change them and change them back

@vpsgeneral ensure that you have the themeisle companion plugin installed and activated: https://wordpress.org/plugins/themeisle-companion/

It will make sure all the missing sections of the plugins are added back to the theme.
