New Update Message

    I’m getting a “New Update” message popup in the admin area every time I load a page.

    The popup says “This update has code refactoring to separate and streamline the Free and Pro versions »”

    I’ve clicked “Dismiss” a dozen times and the popup just keeps showing up. When I view my plugins there’s no update available for this plugin. What do I need to do to make this popup go away?

    Hi,

    We’ve seen this issue before when users had javascript errors from their other plugins preventing the dismissal from working properly, or they had firewall issues preventing AJAX in general from working properly. So we have a few questions or paths to try:

    1) What browser are you using?
    2) When you’re logged in the admin area, do you see any javascript errors in the browser console? If so, please send what they say. This is most likely the problem.
    3) Did you recently install any new plugins? Try deactivating them.
    4) If any of the above do not work, are you able to try the dismiss button on another computer that’s not on the same local network your using right now? (i.e., if you’re at work, try the dismissal on your home computer instead)
