New Update?

    Hello,

    Just writing to ask an information.
    Is it a new update for Download Monitor in sight? It has not been updated for almost 1 year and as a website admin I always get asked about the security of the plugin itself (compared to others who gets constant updates..).
    Looking at the change-log of the past updates, they seemed to be way more frequent.

    Hey Alberto,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    We do not have any immediate updates planned. After the revamp of the entire plugin, we made it stable enough to not need unnecessary updates.

    Are you facing any issue?

    Hi Harish,

    There’s are 56 open issues in GitHub at the moment. Can you please give some insight on what your plans are for continuing to support the plugin? I apologize for being frank but saying it’s “stable enough not to need any updates” is a rather strange take on software development support.

    Hey Nicholas,

    We are still actively supporting this plugin. As of now, we are just considering the plugin’s roadmap as earlier we had introduced a beta version of the shop feature and got some feedback for it which we need to evaluate.

    As for any bugs (one that I just created a ticket for), my colleague “Barry” (the developer) just had a baby, so once he is back to work, we would work working on any pending bug fixes first.
