New theme – keep old post dimesions!

    Hi guys, I badly need to switch to a new theme however I’m held back because all my previous posts contain text and pictures layed out to fit my blog page nicely however my new one has to be far smaller so my old posts become a complete mess!

    I cannot keep the current width with my new posts but I need to somehow keep it with my previous ones.

    Any ideas would be really helpful x

    Find a theme that is close, then edit the theme to fit the size you require.

    Hire a theme developer to create a custom theme with pre-set post width?

    I have come to realise that my blog is too wide and needs to be reduced from 700 to around 550 in width. Going forward I really need to get the dimensions down but I have around 600 old posts I must keep up also.
