• I am trying to load a new theme onto my page. It’s called CMAGPRO and it keeps giving me error messages during install. Here is its url: http://www.blogcatalog.com/blog/best-wordpress-themes

    Here are the error messages:

    Warning: include(/home/hoopang1/public_html/mavericks//wp-content/plugins/fcs/gallery.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/hoopang1/public_html/mavericks/wp-content/themes/cmagpro/CMagPro/index.php on line 15

    Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening ‘/home/hoopang1/public_html/mavericks//wp-content/plugins/fcs/gallery.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/hoopang1/public_html/mavericks/wp-content/themes/cmagpro/CMagPro/index.php on line 15

    Can anyone help me? I really like the theme and would like to use it. Thanks in advance.

  • did you read the directions that came with the theme?

    Theme con4iguration
    After activating CMag Pro there some conCiguration must be done in order to make the
    theme runs as expected .
    Setting The Featured Category
    Install Featured Post Gallery Plugin and activate
    Create a category for your featured posts , something like featured
    Go to Settings => FCS

    it comes with a featured gallery plugin. you need to install that. the error above suggests you havent uploaded it. I checked, the plugin is inside the zip.

    But I gave up on that theme and tried installing others, and nearly identical error message kept showing up. Did I mess something up? Now I can’t get any themes to work. I haven’t messed with any files. I have just been trying to upload any theme that would work.

    a “nearly identical error message” isnt the same thing. if you get an error, than you need to provide the EXACT error message.

    All that aside, Its pretty obvious what the problem is — youre not reading the directions, and youre not uploading all the files to where they belong.
