'New Subscription' Emails

Hi,

As the Admin, I receive emails notifying me whenever someone subscribes to a post. I am just wondering if the author of each post receives these emails as well, and if so, how to ensure that notification emails only get sent to the admin.

So far as I can tell, only the Admin receives these email. Is that correct?
