New store setup error

    I am trying to set up my store (new) but it is giving me an error. Here is the error message:　NotFoundError: Failed to execute ‘removeChild’ on ‘Node’: The node to be removed is not a child of this node.

    Please help

    Hi @melaninmatcha,

    This error usually points to a JavaScript conflict rather than a core WooCommerce setup issue. To help narrow it down, could you please share:

    • Where exactly does this happen (setup wizard, wp-admin, or frontend)?
    • Your WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP version, and active theme
    • Whether the issue still occurs with only WooCommerce active and a default theme (Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four)

    Also, please check your browser console (Developer Tools → Console) and share any red errors shown there. That will help identify the script causing this.
