new post notification question

    Hello,
    I’m using this plugin for years and I’m very happy with it!

    I need help with finding plugin that will provide possibility to notify automatically members of one of my 5 groups – when they have new post for them… problem with all plugins that I tried is that all members of my groups are subscribers. I need something that will send notification just to a one group that have privileges to see this post, not to all subscribers.
    Can you please help me with some advise? I’m interested in some premium plugin if it’s available…

    I have the same need. I tried using Groups newsletters but there is no automated way to make this happen.

    Some integration between Groups and an email service like Mailpoet or MyMail or something would be great. Map all group members to a list in those services.

    Hi @sofni and @schmitt,

    I’d be happy to consider creating an extension (free or premium) or add functionality to Groups Newsletters if suitable. Would you mind explaining briefly how the process from publishing the post to having group members notified should look like and what criteria should be met to notify certain group members?

    @sofni: Would you want that for posts or would it be workable for you to use the story type that Groups Newsletters provides and use its campaigns even if they would be automated.

    @schmitt : Would you want a single post published and automatically notify group members? An integration with Mailpoet etc would be great, using lists based on group members?
