New plugin version does not trigger "please update" message?

    Hi all,

    totally new to plugin scripting in WP, so I hope, you can point me to my mistake easily:

    I updated a new version of the plugin (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/smf-group-members/) in SVN. On the plugin page it displays the current and the older version correct, but my admin panel does not throw a message about a possible plugin update.

    So I assume, I am missing a step in SVN or something in my readme/PHP… any ideas please?
