New Plugin: Swift Callouts

Swift Callouts is a new plugin available in the repository as of today. It allows you to place editorial asides in posts and pages. It’s great for things like tips, warnings and historical facts.

The plugin includes a “Callout Manager” where you can create and edit callout templates. The templates have 18 customizable styles, all of which can be overridden inline using style_name=”value” in the callout shortcode. More information about overriding styles is available on the Overriding Styles page on our site.

Templates can also include pre-formatted static content for adding things like icons and headlines. This area can also be used to create fully-formatted static content, such as author profiles, to be inserted into pages.
