New order by admin shipping auto-calculation

    Hello,

    It seems there is no method of automatic calculation of shipping charges while admin add a new order manually at the back-end!

    I have done extensive searches on the issue and found no solution provided by Woocommerce itself, it is very strange! I have moved from Drupal Commerce to WP where this was done by Drupal Commerce itslef super easily!

    Can any one please advise the reason why such a feature has not been planned by Woocommerce so far?

    In the meantime, any solution using functiones.php (not extra third-party plugins) would be appreciated very much.

    Hi there,

    At the moment, when creating orders manually from the backend, shipping is not generating automatically. Currently, you have to hit the “Add shipping” button then choose the “Shipping method”.

    One possible workaround would be to use User Switching plugin and then work through a front-end checkout process while assuming the account of your customer.
