New Foogallery update crashes website
-
Hi
I updated FooGallery and it totally crashed my website.
I had to disable it for the site to work.
I tried deleting it via file manager and re-installed, but the same problem.
Is there a way to get the previous version?

hi @intermilan
Sorry for this problem. You can install the previous version from https://wordpress.org/plugins/foogallery/advanced/ if you scroll down to Previous versions and download 1.9.53
Once you have that back up and running, please can you goto FooGallery System Info and paste that info here, so we can try to see what PHP or WP version you are running to try and replicate the problem in order to fix it for a future update.
Thanks for your help

thanks for the info @intermilan
Do you have a staging site you can run some tests on for me?
@intermilan can you find the errors from your PHP logs when your site could not load, and please paste them here. Those will help us identify the problem
Can’t find them…. I will wait for the next update.
We have fixed this error for another website and would like you to test it on yours please : https://we.tl/t-RtMeKnA5JZ
You can delete the current version you have installed and then upload this zip and activate.
Please let us know
ok, it worked!! Thanks
Hi
I just received this email
When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information: WordPress version 5.6.1 Current theme: Newspaper (version 10.3.9.1) Current plugin: FooGallery (version 1.10.3) PHP version 7.3.27 Error Details ============= An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 791 of the file /home/customer/www/evolutionofbodybuilding.net/public_html/wp-content/plugins/foogallery/includes/WPThumb/wpthumb.php. Error message: require_once(): Failed opening required '/home/customer/www/evolutionofbodybuilding.net/public_html/wp-content/plugins/foogallery/includes/WPThumb/wpthumb.image-editor.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php73/pear')That error is referencing a file that is no longer part of the plugin.
foogallery/includes/WPThumb/wpthumb.php no longer exists. Actually, the entire directory foogallery/includes/WPThumb/ no longer exists in the plugin.
I am not sure why you are getting that. My only thought is that it could have happened at the moment you were doing the update from the old version to 1.10.3
I have confirmed the fix in 1.10.3 works for a few people with this error so I will be releasing this update for all now.
Thanks for testing it out
No problem.
Thanks for quick fix
