• I used to host my site using Weebly.com, but I decided to go for a more “pro-blogger” look and use a database/Wordpress. I transferred all my old blogs (losing comments and etc in the process) and now I think its finny “done”.

But I know I can improve it and make it much better.

I’m trying to go for the alternative persona style of writing. I don’t actually have a large ego, but on my site I use it to make the blogs funnier.
I am completely new to WP and everything, so I know its missing some elements. But let me know what you think, and how I can improve.

You have chosen a nice theme, clean and clear, simple and loads fast. So, you had a free hosted blog before and you migrated it here. But why not just copy/paste those comments back, why lose them?

    here are a few suggestions,

    1) Get a logo, that way you make a brand of your blog.

    2) Change your permalinks to friendly urls, the option if under the settings/permalinks in your wordpress admin panel, just put the /%postname%/ in the custom option.

    3) Use feedburner for your feeds, it is easy and has lots of options.

    4) You are using a share plugin for social bookmarks, i will suggest you to rather use the twitter/facebook buttons and their widgets, that way your content is better promoted and you get more traffic.

    5) You can make the read more links on your blog friendly, at the moment it is ending with a – #more-350 you can use a plugin like “better read more” and make those links friendly,

over all it is a good blog, lots of nice content, keep it updated,
    cheers,
