Hello! Great plugin, I love using it for my podcast Code Story. Apple recently announced they were updating the podcast categories. When will the SSP plugin be updated with these new categories, or have the option to switch to these new categories? Thanks!

Hi there. Thanks for the message and bringing this up. We’re already working on updating the plugin to reflect the new Apple Podcasts categories. This should be out next week, but in the meantime as Apple said in their announcement there will be no adverse reaction to those shows already in Apple Podcasts that have legacy categories.

Will update here once we’ve got the plugin update ready with the new category options

Hi there. The plugin update that went out today includes the new Apple Podcast Categories. Feel free to update your Feed Details to include those new categories at any time now.

I’ll mark this as resolved now but if you need anything feel free to respond and we’ll reopen things.
