Nested quotes break highlighting

Hello all,

Love syntax highlighting and all the vivid plugins available.
It’s just that I’m experiencing an error:

I’m still using “SyntaxHighlighter Compress”, because it was the only one that seemed to work in an AJAX environment, but I quickly tested “Syntax Highlighter Evolved” by installing and dumping the above source code in the HTML editor, wrapped in [js][/js] shortcodes.

The result was identical to what the above page shows.

I’m wondering, whether it is this known bug:
