• I have an old wordpress site that has fallen into ruin and I’d like to restore it. Unfortunately, due to all the errors it generates and various other issues (and apparently being hacked at some point as well), I can’t get logged into it.

I can log into the hosting account and database management just fine, so I figure I can probably just FTP the new files into the appropriate paths, but I’d like to do as little damage and retain as much as possible — and then once I’m back in, I can go about cleaning up the hacked blog.

Any recommendations on the least destructive way to go about this? As you might guess from the condition of this site, it’s been a while since I dabbled in WordPress, so my skills are a little rusty, but I expect it’ll come back to me soon enough.

    Much thanks.
