Needing help with two CSS edits – Sidebar border color and moving Featured video

First off, thanks to anyone that can help. These are the last two things keeping me from launching this site!

1.) I want to have some padding on the sidebar on the sides and above the search, but when I add the padding the border color is white. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to change the color of it. As you all can see, it’s white below the Featured video at the bottom as well. I want to change it to the same color as I’ve change the sidebar itself.

2.) With the featured video, I’d like to move that up to the top of the sidebar.
