need to make category based menu

hey all,

i’m running a video website using wordpress and i need to organize the tv shows so i’m having a problem making a “page” or a “menu” that will shows all the tv shows and separate them from the other video.

i need to make it like when i click on “Tv shows” it will show me the name of the shows available which i have already made categories for them and when they click on the show it should show them the videos “posts”.

i have created categories for them like this:

Tv Shows
-Test
— *and here would be the episodes
-Test 2
-Test 3
etc…

but when i have tried to make a page and went to “Pages” i can only select category based and not a specific category, so in that case when someone gets into this page it will show him all the categories not “Tv shows” which i want.

when i tried to go to “Menus” and add the “Tv shows” category then click on it, it shows me all the videos under this category and now the name of the categories “Test”, “Test 2”
