need help in getting started

    Hello,

    This is my first time using WP. I installed wp 2.9.2 successfully and also installed a template I like called bluetes. http://wpthemes.toptut.com/

    I’m trying to make it look like how it looks in the link above but I have no idea. Every page I publish, it doesn’t not appear… check my test site out.. http://hamafoto.com/

    First, how do you add the menu titles such as Home, Classified, Headline, and etc.

    Second, how do you add those modules in the right side you know the one with the add banner, categories, archives…

    Last but most importantly, how do you add content? I made a page called contact with a few text… Contact appears when I reload my page but the content doesn’t at all… Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

    Thank you for your time… It’s my first time so I look forward to learning this cool system!

    actually, I think the template file is corrupted. I tried another template and it works well.

    Just wondering…

    does the version of WP matter for templates? I notice on the demo site for the theme bluetes, it is 2.9.1 … however I’m using 2.9.2.

    I guess this is a template issue but if anyone can check it would be awesome to find out why this is happening.

    Yes, some themes aren’t compatible with wp 2.9.2
