• Hello all, I am building a site and only using pages. I want to have links to pages without a parent, to have one look and links to pages with a parent to have another. Which styles to I edit? I have tried all of the sidebar styles and I am not having any luck. You can see the site here: http://test.centerforhumanservices.org
    Any help will much appreciated.

  • As you create a page (any page) WP in admin gives you a chance to associate that page with any template – either one you have or one you create. That gives you a chance for 2 looks either by editing the markup or by importing additional CSS. Nothing to it. 🙂

If I understand well s/he wants to change the “look” (style?) of the links depending on where they go. Meaning the color/font/whatever of the link does NOT depend on what page your are on, but where they point.

I dont think I did a good job explaining my situation 🙂 All I am trying to do is give the links in the navigation different looks according to where they are in the hierarchy. For examlpe: if you look at my site, http://test.centerforhumanservices.org
I would like the Departments link to have one link and the links underneath it; Administration, Benefits… Have a different look. Does that make any sense? Thanks for the reply!
