Thanks for the reply. There is no compatible issue on Wordfence at WordPress 3.8.22 right now. But my concern is do my site safe if using 3.8.22 or 3.8.2x in the future? Thanks.
You really need to stay up to date with WordPress versions, IMO. Aside from new features that you may or may not care about, the important part of it really are the WordPress security updates.
It really is not an option to stick with older versions of WordPress. Doing so is just the same as begging to be hacked.
Hi @msngmedia,
I couldn’t agree with @bluebearmedia more!
WordPress releases include major security updates and this the reason why one of Wordfence’s many features is to alert you when the WordPress version you’re using is out-of-date.
So to answer your question: we cannot guarantee that your site will be safe if you’re still using WordPress 3.8.22 or 3.8.2x.
And indeed, running such versions makes your site extremely vulnerable.
Hi guys, thanks for the comments.
