Navigation bar is nesting itself

So my navigation bar seems to be nesting itself with a 2nd row of links – I do not want this.

I realize that it is part due to my logo having the longer sentence at the bottom.

But I created the logo as a .png so technically all of that white area above the sentence should be open and the navigation bar should be able to utilize that space and this problem will go away.

Any suggestions on how to do that?
