mysql error with wordpress

Hi guys,

Hope this is the right section to post in, and I hope you guys can help..

Well sometimes I get the following message when I visit my wordpress site vr 3.1.2:

I cannot update to 3.1.3 as my sites script will not function.

What could be the problem?

I already contacted my hosting company, and they said it could be wordpress etc..
