My wp admin page not loading please help

    I am not a techie. I don’t know what happened. Suddenly my website won’t load at all. Neither am I able to login to admin dashboard. Its breaking my heart. I don’t know what to do 🙁
    Please can someone help. I was trying to copy a code from ezine articles but into header.php but i could not do it…still the whole website disappeared. What should i do?
    I had installed a updraftplus plugin. is there anyway to restore website to last back up without log gin in to the dashboard since am not able to 🙁

    I suppose the easiest would be to remove what you added to header.php.

    To do so, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, and edit the file with a plain text editor.

    Ok, was it definitely just the modification you made to the header.php file that took the site down? If so, try replacing just that file from either your backup or a fresh download of the theme.

    If not, try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
