Might be a .htaccess issue… try resetting the permalinks.

Hi Brian! That link DID let me log in, but it still wont let me access the dashboard. Is there another way to reset the permalinks? Whenever I click on the dashboard, I get this coming up in the address bar: http://www.imvets.com/wp-admin/upgrade.php?_wp_http_referer=%2Fwp-admin%2F
Could this have to do with upgrading to the newest version of WordPress? I haven’t tried to upgraded yet….

Portblade, delete or rename the .htaccess file (make a copy first) and see if that fixes the problem.

I did figure out how to delete the .htaccess file . Unfortunately, I still can not login in my website. I am still getting the same error that will not allow my to login. I am still getting a re-direct here: http://www.imvets.com/wp-admin/upgrade.php?_wp_http_referer=%2Fwp-admin%2F I’m very stressed. Is there anything else I can try? I had a lot of work to do today and can’t access anything 🙁
I wasn’t able to before, but I can now. I performed a manual upgrade of the new wordpress using FTP. Everything seems fine now and I’m fully updated. I’m not sure what happened to begin with, I had not updated before, but thankful it’s over now. Brian and Kmessinger, thank you for your help!
When I went to your link above it said to upgrade the db. I did. I think that is all it was waiting for.
Oh, I didn’t see that. I must have missed something. How did you upgrade the db for me? Is there something I should know how to do? I am such a newbie with WordPress!
