My WordPress.com Stats plugin has stopped working

    Hi

    I am running WordPress.com Stats – and suddenly I do no longer receive statistics – an I know for sure, that vbroad36.com has visitors. But I can not see them in my stats anymore.
    I have tried to reinstall the plugin – but it does not help.
    I know I have changed a few settings here and there – but I can not figure out what I can have done wrong here.
    I could make a complete reinstallation from a backup – but I would much better find the error so that I do not do it again (i-f I am the error ;-).
    Please help.

    Checking your source code, I can’t even see a closing </html>. If I was to have a guess, the footer.php file may be a bit messed up.

    Might want to have a look into that first.

    Thanks a lot Snat!
    And I guess you are right!
    Actually I did remove the footer.php content: I wanted – and still want to – make my footer unvisible.
    However I did not succeed in “commenting” code away.
    So I decided to just remove the code 😉
    But I did make a backup – so the footer is now visible again.
    However I still want to remove the visibility of my footer – I will have to find out how to do that.
    Pretty sure – my php skills could be better 😉

    But again, thanks a lot for your hint.

    However Snat, I have a question: Exactly how can you “check my source code”?

    Right click, View Source is enough to see there is no footer 😉
