• Hello,

Before you read, please know that:
    1/ I’m a newbie to WordPress.
2/ I can play with tags a bit, but I’m not a developer.
3/ I customized my own Themes, based on the Blue Horizon template.

Everything with my customization seems fine except that I have a display problem with my comments:
    – my comment boxes don’t display well. The box does not close and the text is mixed with following text that should be outside the box.
    – also, I have a problem with the number. Only 3 comments on my blog up till now, and I got the number 8 written in my comment box for the lastet one.

Have a look at http://www.doctormarcom.com/?p=10#comments to see what happens.

When I switched back to the Blue Horizon theme, the problem does not happen. I have compared all the styles used for my comments in my CSS with their equivalents in the Blue Horizon CSS: they seem to be the same.

Can anyone help a motivated newbie please? What information do you need from me to try and help me?

    Thanking you in advance.

  • 1. In FF the comments look fine. However I don’t know what do you call comment box.
    2. Because it displays the comments ID# (in the database) and not as a list item number in an ordered list.

In FireFox, everything is fine. But in IE, my comments are completely unstructured. What I call ‘comment box’ is the ‘pink rectangle’ in which my comment should be contained, that is, the box/rectangle surrounding my comments. In IE, I have bugs with those boxes, that does not appear closed or complete.

Can anyone please have a look at the page http://www.doctormarcom.com/?p=10#comments with IE, and help me solving that problem?
