Multisite solution question

    Hi, we have a community of kids arts and crafts club owners and we’d like to design a website template, with basic pages, opt ins etc. Then we’d like to give it to the members of our community. Basically to add their domain, logo and tweak a few basics (about page etc). Plug and play.

    Ideally on a subscription basis so that when they leave our community they will also lose access to this template. Would this be possible with WordPress multisite?

    Yes, a multisite is a possible basis for the project. Technically, however, you can also detach a website from a multisite installation. There are no technical limits in this regard. Of course, this approach would make it easier for you to retain members. You provide the hosting and all the technical support for the websites. You would also have to define in the contract that a move is “not possible” (although it would be technically possible). A lawyer will certainly be able to formulate this appropriately.
