    Hi all,
I hope someone can help me here as i’m having some trouble. I have installed wp and gone through the multisite setup to the point where network settings tells me what to add to my wp-config.php and .htaccess files.
When I change the .htaccess file I get this error on my site (any page):

    ‘Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at webmaster@businessdino.teesmedesigns.co.uk to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.’

Changing the .htaccess file back and the site works but the multisite admin part doesn’t work.

    Can anyone help with this?

You should get the .htaccess and wp-config.php from your network menu, the url looks something like this – http://domain.com/wp-admin/network/setup.php

If you are getting a 500 error from your .htaccess file, then you are copying & pasting incorrectly. Why dont you show your .htacces?
