I don’t have multi-site install to test it, and I don’t have a lot of knowledge in multisite so it could take a lot of time before I could set up an environment (more than I can afford as a free plugin support).

but please check if your audio files are stored on the same server that your WordPress install of if it is on a CDN.
If it is on a CDN, you have to make some configuration (see FAQ of the plugin).

Meanwhile, I invite WaveSurfer-WP user who use it on multisite to tell us if it works for them.

which minimum php version is required?

I can assure it works with PHP 5.6 or 7.0, but I didn’t test it with earlier version. That said, there is nothing special in the PHP code.

If the player is present, but only the waveform is missing, then it is surely a problem with the wavesurfer-js script against your server. That means that it is possible that you server have some protections that refuse wavesurfer-js access to audio files. That’s why CDN need certain configuration.

Maybe you have a link to share ?

    Solved, I guess !
