    Hi!

We use UM on our current site, and want to expand our setup to a multisite setup with one new site (to begin with). However, we do want to have control on which users should have access to site A and B.

As a part of my testing, it seems that all users on my original site A seem to get access to site B, regardless of UM being active or not on site B. Is this expected behaviour?

In the network admin settings, registration is disabled (all registrations has gone through UM), and on the user overview in network admin, only site A is marked as accessible on the users.

How can I control which current (and future) users should have access to site A and B respectivly?

Thanks for an otherwise great plugin!

    Hi @bjornarfjelldal

It’s the default behavior in a multi-site network setup even without the Ultimate Member plugin.

    >>> How can I control which current (and future) users should have access to site A and B respectively?

Could you please clarify the above question? Do you want to restrict users from accessing site A to site B, C, etc? If so, you need to customize it on your end as this goes beyond the UM functionalities and features.

Hi! Thank you for your swift reply and sorry for mye late response.

Yes, let’s say I have site A with 100 users. I want to create site B, where 50 of the users on site A should have access to site B, but not the other 50.

I will also have new user signing up to site A and B respectivly, and to only receive access to the one site they have signed up on, until we, for half of them, give them access to both (either they need to sign up on both sites, or we can add them to the site that they have not signed up on).

Since there are this many corresponding users, it would be nice for them to keep their profile/login/username instead of creating a new one – and it would be nice for us to maintain this based on site access in the network admin / ultimate member instead of having to separate wordpress instances.

    Is this possible?
