Hi, thanks for this plugin !

    I have a couple of questions …

My multisite is the same site, cloned on 5 languanges atm.

First 4 languages are English / English AU / English CA / Eglish UK

5th Language is non-english, ES_es. I setup relationships in between all of them, but the hreflangs are only showing up from Es_es to EN on all sites. Seems that the plugin does not differentiate from AU / CA / UK when applying the hreflangs ?

Then, another thing : I though this plugin also changed Woocomerce’s language … What I need is to change the internal Woocomerce language to, for example Spanish on multisite. Is there a way to install another .mo language pack for a subsite in multisite ?

Thank you, the plugin is great !

Plarcher, can you please not hijack my post ? Thank you.

For the developer : Actually hreflangs are not showing for some of the sites … only on some pages.

    Hi cfunk2,

if you have set up your sites (i.e., their laguages) correctly, you should see a <link /> element for each site/language. The HTML elements contain the HTTP language code, which means you don’t have the language only (e.g., en), but the locale (e.g., en-US).

In order for the links to show, there, of course, has to be a published post on the according sites.

Can you please check, for a site/post with a missing link, if there actually is a post and if that is published…?

    Kind regards,
    Thorsten

Does this plugin sets the hreflang in pages too, besides posts ? Do you have to do something to the pages or posts besides creating the relationships ?

What I need to do is to wire the hreflangs between many subsites in a multisite install that are clones.

Also, I have found that Spanish(Argentinian) Is not on the list of languages.

    Hi there,

sorry, I seem to have missed this.

MultilingualPress injects the <link /> element for whatever (Custom) Post Type you have. As long as the according translation has the post status publish (or you are logged in as someone capable of editing the remote post).

When you duplicate a site, the according posts are automatically connected. So you should see the alternative language links for any published post.

I will have a look at Spanish (Argentina), thanks.

    Kind regards,
    Thorsten
