• We have successfully set up a product (a donation in any amount to our nonprofit), for which users get a T-shirt, and an option to have their donation public. I set up a variation Group for T-Shirt Size, and that works perfectly. When I set up a second variation group, to ask if they want their donation kept private, and update the item, it consolidates the two groups into one, taking the group name from the second option, and consolidating all the variations under that one variation group. I end up with the following T-shirt size options on the published product page: XS, S, M, L, XL, Yes – Include me, No – keep my donation private. I have screenshots available if that would be helpful.

Hi, please check the following documentation creating-variable-products-using-the-stripe-payments-plugin. Let me know if this helps you in any way.

    Thank you

Thanks for the response. I followed those instructions to create two variations with the result being the same. I have posted screen shots at https://camtb.org/stripe/ They show first how it was set up, before hitting the Update button. The second screenshot is what happens when I click the update button. The third is how it publishes.

Hi and thank you for detailed info.

Are you using the latest version of Stripe Payments plugin (2.0.16 at the moment)?

Similar issues were reported in older versions, but those have been fixed some time ago. I just tried to create a new product with multiple variations and couldn’t reproduce the issue you’re having.

Last, but not least – seems that you’re using old Stripe API, which is deprecated and might be disabled by Stripe in the future. While this is not directly related to the variations issue, I’d suggest to disable old API.

I am experiencing this problem also. It happens if you try and create more than one group with variations on an already existing product. It puts all the variations into one group.

However it works ok if you add your groups/variations at the time of creating the product.

Hi and thank you for your info.

I tried to create multiple variations groups on existing product as well, still no luck in reproducing the issue.

Are you using latest version of Stripe Payments (2.0.21 at the moment)?
