Multiple Theme Issues

I am having several theme issues. It will allow me to install and activate a theme. However, when I click on the “customize” link it shows the side bar, but the whole right half of the screen that is supposed to show the blog is blank white. Also, even though I installed and activated ‘Elegant Grunge’ and deleted all other themes, my blog does not reflect these changes but instead shows the theme as ‘Coraline’ which I never installed or activated. One other issue is that the tagline on my blog will not update, but stays at the default even though my settings reflect the tagline I wrote.
