Multiple site view

Hello Everyone,

First of all, i want to thank the community, these foruns have helped me out an endless number of times, but for this time i found nothing regarding my issue, so i’ve decided to finally register.

So, for starters, the website im currently working on is: Gebox

I started developing this website after it was created a long time ago and put on hold by another developer, what happens here is that now my boss asked me to create a multi-language website, but what i really want to create is a multi view website where the user would pick a language and from there, every post/page would be different as i would write every page in the corresponding language.

I see a couple of ways of doing this, but im not skilled enough to make it happen, so im asking you guys for help:

1-Using a plugin(it’s being difficult due to the fact that i have wordpress version 3.0.4 and i cant update due to server restrictions, (my SQL version) my boss wont rent another server and the hosting company says they cant have My SQL 5.0 on the current server and we would have to migrate to another one)

2-Somehow using php to discover which language is activated (im thinking about a menu with small flags of the available languages, and depending on that, giving a different page.

The second one could turn out to be hard because im using Nova Theme by Elegant Themes (i gave up on their support because the previous developer bought the theme and his membership expired), and what the theme does is actually echo the page that is created and display its content on the index tab, so i would have to change the echoes that are used in the theme and make each store view echoe different pages depending on the language selected.

Does this make sense? i think you’ll find it hard to understand what i mean unless you visit the website, it is linked above.

Please help me out with this one, i would hate to have to build a new website from scratch and to have to convince my boss to change servers(although this would be the way to go, it would give me way less problems when making changes…), adding to that, the website is almost done according to what my boss wants, so i’d have to repeat the whole process…
