    Hello guys,

Today I’m having a CPU overhead from my server (consuming more than 90%) and I realize that I’m getting AIOWP multiple site blocking notifications for login attempts.

Even though security is effective and these bots can never break into my site, it is still detrimental to my site, to have these several and several attempts, as they cause overload on my server, similar to DDOS attacks.

So I was wondering if there’s anything I can do with AIOWP to stop these login attempts?

    Thank you and I await.
    Rodrigo

Hi, do you have one of the Brute Force features enabled like Rename Login page? Do you have the following feature enabled Completely Block Access To XMLRPC: under Firewall -> Basic Firewall Rules?

Hello, Rename Login Page is enabled.

And the “Completely Block Access To XMLRPC” option is disabled. Should I activate it?

Taking advantage … I’m using the “WordPress Ping Optimizer” plugin where it automatically pings to online services like http://rpc.pingomatic.com/ and among others. And I was wondering if leaving the “Disable Pingback Functionality From XMLRPC” option enabled will not cause my posts to be pinged?

I am wondering if it is your other plugin “WordPress Ping Optimizer” causing this issue?

It’s not causing a problem. Just wanted to know if leaving “Disable Pingback Functionality From XMLRPC” enabled will cause the “WordPress Ping Optimizer” plugin to fail to PING my new posts?

Hi, I am not sure if your other plugin will fail if you enable this feature. I have never used that plugin myself.

    Regards
