    Hi,

    We keep getting multiple email of “Order has been marked on-hold due to a reversal – PayPal reason code: buyer_complaint” from orders from months ago. And we get 10-14 email notification with this from one order# alone. Is this a bug or is this coming from paypal? How do we limit the notification to 1 only?

    Hi Greg,

    You can activate an email logger for example: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-logging/ – this will tell you whether the emails are being sent by your WordPress.

    Judging from the buyer_complaint it sounds like a PayPal dispute. Does this match your PayPal account records as well, or is there no explanation for the notification?

    Thanks for the reply.

    I have the wp-mail-logging set on our WP site. Yes there was a paypal dispute on our account and we already managed some of those disputes. But the weird thing is the email notification keeps on prompting almost every 30mins. Like for example this one.

    Hello again,

    I have had cases in the past where a mail plugin was causing this. An external mail service was triggering multiple times.
    You will probably have to review the PHP error log files as well.

    When you managed the disputes. Did you use the refund button in WooCommerce or did you manage that otherwise?
