Hi,
You can assign as many images to 1 variation as you want.
Keep in mind you have to do this image by image (there is no bulk).
Again, the images are to be set in the product gallery and not in the variations image.

THere should be a problem with the theme cause it shows only 1 photo for variation even if we assigned more

did you activate the plugin at WooCommerce > SVI so that the changes are done in the front-end?
