@mariaosnest. Thanks for using the plugin. I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble.
I appreciate you including screenshots as that is very helpful. I can definitively tell you that your theme or a plugin is interfering with Feature a Page Widget and leading to these problems. Feature a Page Widget only supports selecting one page per widget as you can see in this screenshot.
It may be SiteOrigin but I have tested with that plugin fairly recently and do not recall seeing this. It is likely another plugin that uses the “Chosen” JavaScript library that generates that “fancy” dropdown menu that the widget uses.
Please try using a default WordPress theme (Twenty Seventeen, for example). If that doesn’t solve it, try deactivating plugins one-by-one to see if the problem resolves itself. If you can tell me the specific plugin that is conflicting, I may be able to provide a fix or workaround.
Thank you for looking into it!
I am not sure I understand. The widget does not support adding/showing multiple pages within the widget? I will have to go around it by adding a widget for every page I would like to show? (Adding a widget for every page works fine with the Page Builder, but is not what I am looking for)
When I add the widget via the Page Builder on a page I am actually able to add multiple pages within the widget. Screenshot of how the widget lets me select multiple pages
When I add the widget to a sidebar area via Widgets in admin, I am only able to add one page (as shown in the screenshot you added).
I want to use the widget via the Page Builder and want the widget to show all the pages I select.
I have searched for a plugin/widget which can pull multiple pages, but the ones I have found all show only one page. Is there a reason for this that I do not understand?

HI @mariaosnest. Sorry for the confusion. I realize this is a very strange issue.
Feature A Page Widget can only feature one page per widget. It sounds like you’re seeing the normal behavior in the Widgets page of the admin.
The fact that you can select multiple pages in a widget is a bug caused by a conflict with a theme or plugin. You should not be able to select multiple pages and the reason it’s behaving strangely if you do is that the plugin can’t handle that.
I received your feedback in my email as well and it’s always useful to get more feedback and another request for this feature.
While it might seem simple, allowing the selection of multiple pages is a fairly complicated feature to add and I don’t expect to be doing so any time in the near future. This is probably why you haven’t seen the feature elsewhere in similar widgets. The only potential workaround is to use multiple widgets. If that doesn’t work, I’d search for a plugin that can display a “random” page or something like the Query Posts widget that accepts custom arguments to select from a set of pages.
Again, if you can pinpoint the source of the conflict with a specific theme or plugin, I’d be happy to see if there’s a way to at least fix the issue.

Given this thread hasn’t been updates in over a month, I am marking it as resolved. If you still need any support, please open a new thread with details about the theme as requested above.
