    Hi All,
I tried to link my Facebook page’s access token (and ID) in your plugin. I am manging two pages with my Facebook account but if I click on Login and get my access token, I only see one page – and by Murphy’s law the wrong one. I am admin on both of them. What can I do to get the right page in there?
    Thank you
    Roger

    Hi @rhalbheer,

When trying to gain a FB access token, if you have logged into FB through the Business Page, it may not show. You will need to (be sure to) login through your personal FB account. Going through the prompts will show the FB Pages that you have Admin privileges for.

The Facebook Page must be a FB Business Page and you need to have Admin privileges for that FB Page. (one recent caveat, is that FB now requires that whomever is granting Admin Privileges to a FB Business Page must be “FB Friends” with whomever is being granted access).

If the FB Page you manage is not showing up, you will need to contact the Page owner to make sure you are both “FB Friends” and that the proper Admin privileges have been granted.

    Hi @slickchris ,
I checked again: I am admin on the page I am talking of and I created it. There are several admins, though.
The only difference I find between the two pages is one is showing and owner in the page roles (that’s the one I see) and the other does not – but there is not way to add one either. The one I see has an ID and the other does not show an ID.
Do you have an idea what I need to change?

    Hi @rhalbheer,

If you are the FB Page creator/owner, the Page should definitely show up for you. However, it needs to be a FB Business Page only, it can not be a Personal, Community, Event or Group page.

All of the info I’ve provided are Facebook’s requirements regarding what they will allow through their API. When you click to gain an access token, our prompts will only return what has been approved via Facebook’s own protocols. If the Page is not listing in our prompts, the only thing it could be is 1) the FB Page is not a FB Business Page, 2) The FB user does not have Admin privileges, 2a) Admin privileges were not granted fully b/c the FB Page owner/Admin and the grantee are not “FB Friends”.
I would suggest reaching out to FB support to find out what the error is. Hopefully they are able to zero in on it.
